Christian church is often symbolized as a building, even when it
represents people and not buildings at all. We who believe in
Jesus Christ are the church. The building, if we have one, is
simply a place to meet for prayer, worship, preaching, teaching,
and other Christian functions. Many Christians meet in homes, in
school buildings, auditoriums, hotel meeting rooms, in parks and
many other places. It does not matter where we gather. What
matters is that we get together with other Christians in the
Name of our Lord Jesus.
