Original Christian artwork with blue background: Original character Mooky,
surrounded hearts, stating the fact that Jesus loves you!
It doesn't need to be Valentine's Day for us to think about
love. We need to be loved and to know we are loved every day.
It's simply a part of our nature, no matter how tough or how
independent of other people we may try to be. There are other
people who care about us, even when we are ignorant of their
affection. And Jesus loves us. He loved us enough to die for us.
He did this so that we could be with Him forever. That's
love.
If you are ever in doubt of God's love, simply remember that
Jesus went to the cross for your sins. He did so because
He cares about you as an individual human being. He loves
you and the Father in heaven loves you. Don't allow the
cares and confusions of this present life to make you doubt
God's love. Never forget what Jesus did for you because of
His love.
When Jesus paid for sins, He suffered for all of us, but just
just for some nameless crowd of faces. Sin is individual
and personal. Being born in sin is part of a curse that touches
all people. But sinning as a human being is individual,
something that we all do, according to Scripture. When we
rebel against parental authority, when we decide to take what is
not ours, when we decide to force others to to do what we want,
when we decide to hurt someone, any time we put our own desires
and feelings above the needs and good of others, we are sinning.
Jesus did not just pay for the curse of sin, He suffered for the
personal choices, too. That means He died for each person
and their own private collection of sins. The Bible shows us
that Jesus suffered until all sins were paid for, until the debt
was fully wiped out. That kind of love is amazing. He knew
about us and about our wrong choices long before we were even
born. And He took our place so that we could be forgiven,
made clean, born again.
Jesus loves you. Jesus wants you to be with Him in His
Father's house for all eternity. Jesus will return one day
to gather you to Himself. All you have to do is accept His
love and respond with faith and confidence in Him.
