When gloom threatens to overwhelm go ahead and sing unto the Lord.  In fact, why wait until the dark clouds come?  Sing to the Lord and worship Him at home.  Use simple musical instruments to make a joyful noise in your own home.  Singing and genuine worship is far more powerful than merely having a radio on or the TV.  When we worship God from the heart, then we become the vessels of praise and God is glorified in us.  We will then be so much better prepared to go to church gatherings, joining other believers in group worship and in sharing the Word of God.
