Some of the elements of palm Sunday celebration.  Palm Sunday is a celebration of Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem.  He rose on the back of a small donkey, and the disciples and others threw down their cloaks and branches from nearby palms.  You can read the story for yourself in the Bible, in the Gospel Account of Mark, Chapter 11.  You can also read the story here.
