program in the local Christian fellowship. Home-based
Christian activities for neighborhood children are another
wonderful way to make good memories and help provide spiritual

Working with
children can be trying as well as very rewarding, and it is
always plenty of work. But the true rewards, that no one
can see at first, is the spiritual work accomplished
by the Spirit of God inside the hearts and minds of young lives.
God will use seeds planted through the truth of the Gospel and
other Bible-based stories to create a foundation of wisdom and
understanding in a child's life that will weather even the most
horrific storms of life.
A neighborhood Bible
class, a weekly Sunday school, a summertime (or autumn) VBS
program is often like a ride on a Happy train. It's an opportunity
for children to learn new and meaningful stories, to sing
wonderful and hopeful
songs, to engage in play, creative activities and fun projects
that may touch many lives.
Seldom is this kind of experience forgotten, no matter how many
years go by. And only God knows what such patient sowing
will one day produce in the life of each child.
