Gospel Clip Art images are the original and copyrighted works of by Jim Sutton, and are not in the Public Domain. No royalty fees or usage fees are charged for their use, but certain legal and ethical restrictions do apply. Your use of any image on this site constitutes full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use and your agreement to comply with them.

Our Terms of Use covers any and all images, animations, clipart, composites, digital footage, digital video, graphics, illustrations, motion sequences, photographs or any other visual representation together with all accompanying metadata and other material that may be obtained from this site, either directly or by any other source.

All images on this site are copyrighted and protected under the various laws of the United States, International treaties and other applicable laws. They shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Gospel Clip Art. Use of any image is permitted only under the terms stated here. Any other use is copyright infringement.

Permitted Uses

You may, without additional approval, download, back up and store images from this site for your own personal use and witness, for the use of your local church ministry, Bible study group, VBS, Sunday School program, for Christian missionary or evangelistic outreach, community outreach,

You may, without additional approval, use Gospel Clip Art images in any print or electronic media (except in computer software, electronic video games or computer games) including advertising and editorial use, provided such use does not include the re-distribution, re-use of the images or access to the images apart from a product or service. (See Prohibited Uses below.)

You may, without further approval, use Gospel Clip Art images on product packaging or in any items for personal use or resale, including book covers, calendars, consumer merchandise, such as shirts, hats, posters, art, etc. (except in computer software and electronic video games or computer games), provided such use does not include the re-distribution, re-use of the images or access to the images apart from a product or service. (See Prohibited Uses below.)

You may also, without additional approval, modify or alter Gospel Clip Art images as necessary for your use, subject to certain restrictions (see Prohibited Uses below), and provided that if such modification or alteration constitutes a derivative work you do not claim copyright ownership or equivalent rights over the modified results, and you shall only use such derivative work in good faith, giving proper credit to Gospel Clip Art for any or all original images used.

You may use Gospel Clip Art images as decor in your church, home, in an office, lobby, public area, restaurant, or retail store. You do not need special approval to use the images as graphics or design elements in video, film, or television broadcasts. You may use Gospel Clip Art images in connection with your business or profession, or with a corporate identity documents and letterhead, except as a logo, service mark or trademark (see the Prohibited Uses below).

Prohibited Uses

You may not sell, license or sublicense, distribute, transfer or assign rights to any Gospel Clip Art images. You may not copy or reproduce these images except as specifically provided for above. You may not remove any copyright, logo emblem, signature or other identifying mark from any place where it appears on a Gospel Clip Art image.

You may not display or offer Gospel Clip Art images in any digital format or for any digital use at a resolution greater than 72 dpi, except in editorial or preliminary design work. Doing so will be viewed as an attempt to distribute these images in violation of the Terms of Use, and as copyright infringement. This includes, but is not limited to generic WMF, SVG, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Adobe Acrobat (Reader or PDF) files, and files in any other vectorized format.

You may not use the images as part of a trademark, service mark, or logo. Gospel Clip Art retains the full rights to the images and therefore you cannot establish your own rights over them.

You may not use Gospel Clip Art images in any way that competes with GospelClipArt.com, GospelGifs.com, BestFreeChristian.com, CA4C.com (ClipArt4Christians.com) or any other website, graphics service or distribution network owned by Jim Sutton, the artist and provider of these images. GospelClipArt.com exists to generate and offer high quality Christian and family-friendly images to Christian believers and ministries world-wide. It is the specific intent of this provision to prohibit you from using our own Gospel Clip Art images to compete, directly or indirectly, with this work. (On the other hand, we always joyfully welcome the addition of new Christian artists and new websites offering fresh new graphics and art

You may not use Gospel Clip Art images in any product or service where the images can be used apart from a product or service. This includes the manner in which Gospel Clip Art images are used to promote, display, describe or advertise books, recorded music, imprinted T-shirts, caps, and other items.

You may not use Gospel Clip Art images as part of a product in any electronic format intended for multiple distribution or licensing including, without limitation, templates, Web site templates, software products, including computer and/or video games and game consoles, e-greetings, etc. Contact Jim@GospelClipart.com to request special written permission for such use.

You may not use Gospel Clip Art images (or resell or redistribute the images for use) in mobile or wireless devices, including but not limited to cell phones and other mobile telephones, handheld game consoles, and PDAs. Such usage/distribution is copyright infringement.

You may not use any Gospel Clip Art image in any way that could be considered defamatory, pornographic, libelous, immoral, obscene or fraudulent, or illegal, either by making modifications to it, or the placement in the proximity to or arrangement with any accompanying text or images, or in any other way. You may not use Gospel Clip Art images to ridicule, mock, deride the Christian faith (including all Protestant, Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Christian groups).

Gospel Clip Art images may not be used in any way to discredit or show contempt for any racial, ethnic or national group. Nor may these images be used on websites, in books or other publications, video productions or in any other printed, electronic or digital media owned or operated by an individual, group or corporate entity that engages in any of the practices listed and prohibited in this paragraph.

Gospel Clip Art images may not be used in any way that brings discredit to the name or Person of Jesus Christ, to His church, to the Christian faith, to the Holy Bible or the generally accepted and orthodox teachings of Holy Scripture.
